I woke up yesterday with a Richard Bach quote in my head.

“Here is the test– to find whether your mission on Earth is finished: If you’re alive, it isn’t.”

It has been some time since I have visited these words. And there they were–uncomfortably fresh and present.

This got me thinking about both my grandfathers–both, separately took their own life.

My mother’s sister took pills to end her life.

My dad’s brother overdosed and his life ended.

A co-workers close friend and love ended his life this month.

Did this mean their missions where finished?

What was their mission?

I never took the time to ask. I will never know, now.

It was mid-morning when I got a call.

My cousin (my mom’s sister’s son) who I have not spoken with in over 8 years took his life last night.

Does this mean his mission as a father, brother, son, cousin was finished?

What was his mission? I never thought to ask.

It was random that I watched Pay It Forward to finish my day.

As the movie played I was inspired.

It has been a while since I have given big.

Give little things? Yes, all the time. But it has been a while for something really big.

It had been so long since I have seen the Pay it forward, I had forgotten how it ended.

There suddenly seemed to be a theme today.

I then wondered about all the people in my life, the ones still here.

What is their mission? Could my skills or resources help them?

I am alive and I can continue to give. And as equally important, I can be ready to receive.

This too is important. Because at any moment, someone may want to pay it forward. And you need to be ready to receive so they can.

“To give is to receive and to receive is to give.” ~someone wise

It is time to give something big.

It is just the next line for you but a whole day has passed for me as I have been thinking about something that I can do to encourage a pay it forward.

To shift the greyness of yesterday I received a message this morning from one of my CareerHearted Grads. “I wanted to personally thank you for your CareerHearted course! I felt compelled to let you know that since I have taken your course my business has doubled every year what it did the year before. It is only June and I have already exceeded what I did all of last year!”

Yes, that did brighten my day and if I remember correctly she was a mother of three and had someone help sponsor her so she could take the course. If it was not for the generosity of another, she would not be able to grow her business and help other people the way she is doing now.

And so I have an idea.

I am eager to find six people who are doing their best to make a difference, with a great product or service and yet feel lost on what to do now and what to do next in their business.

People who know they should be successful and yet are struggling. Who are giving it their all at doing what they love, yet can’t quite find their feet to grow or succeed.

People who are willing to “do what ever it takes” and just wish they knew what the ‘it’ was.

I would like to gift these six people the entire CareerHearted’s online business course.

I would also like to do better than that. Do more. Play bigger.

Each person will also receive four 30 minute, one-on-one sessions with me.

I want to gift this additional coaching time to support these six while they process what that which they have awakened in awareness during CareerHearted. Help them be accountable in not only knowing what their “it” is, but also act towards it.

My pay it forward is six people and invest in them:  $3497 for the professional course and four 1-on-1 sessions (value
